SunCatcher Therapeutic Riding Academy

Clancy joined our family in early 2025.  A Welsh/Arabian born around 2000, he has been used in multiple disciplines throughout his life, including English, Western, and 4H Horse Shows.

Dutch is a Missouri Fox Trotter and was born in 2005. He is Registered under the name Playboy’s Legend Diamond. He came to SunCatcher in the fall of 2019. He goes by many nicknames, including Surfer Dude and Fabio. 

Joe is a brown and white paint, born in 2003. He and Sunny B are bonded, so you will usuall see them together! Due to his swayback, Joe doesn't do riding sessions, but he is a real sweetheart during groundwork.

Rebar is our resident mule born in 2002. He joined SunCatcher in 2022 after his family developed health problems. The saying “stubborn as a mule” rings true with this sweet boy. Although stubborn, he is very gentle and sweet with our riders.

Sarge is an Appaloosa gelding born 2005, who joined SunCatcher thanks to the generosity of the The Graese Family Foundation.  He has been a family and trail horse his whole life, and he is already beloved  SunCatcher.

Sunny B is a quarter horse gelding born in 2001.  He and his best friend Joe were leased to SunCatcher by their wonderful family.

Ta’te is a beautiful black and white American Paint Horse gelding, born in 2007.  His purchase was made possible by a generous donor.  His registered name is KC MUCHO BLANCO.  He  loves all of his participants!

Goldie is a palomino mare born in 2003. She has done trail rides for most of her career, she has been out to pasture for the past few years. She's ready to learn the ropes and be a part of our SunCatcher team.
